This policy explains what personal data HouseSmart Surveying collects through the Portals platform, why we collect it, and the choices you have. All data is stored and processed in the UK/EU region.
Information we collect
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, phone number, your organisation’s name, and your role within it. Referrers may upload a logo; panel firms provide the coverage areas they wish to receive job notifications for.
We also record account activity needed to run the service — sign-in events, organisations you belong to, and actions taken in the portal.
How we use your data
We use your details to authenticate you, set up and operate your referrer or panel portal, match panel firms to relevant jobs, process commissions and payouts, and keep the platform secure and auditable.
Sharing
We share data only as needed to deliver the service — for example with our payment provider to make transfers, and with the systems that source leads and survey jobs. We never sell your personal data.
Data retention & residency
Your data is held in the London/EU region and retained for as long as your account is active and as required to meet our legal and financial obligations.
Your rights
